Serena is a London-based poet, writer, performer and voice/speech/text practitioner working across text, theatre and performance. Originally from Frascati, Italy, Serena studied at RomaTre, Rome and Birkbeck College, London, before training in Voice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
She joined her first choir at age 6 and has performed in a variety of settings, from sacred music ensembles to jazz bands, from live art to music theatre, theatre and poetry performance. Her writing has been published & performed in the UK, US and Europe. Her debut poetry pamphlet BLUE SHEILA came out with Dancing Girl Press (Chicago, 2018) and a forthcoming short collection will be published by Makina Books (London) in 2020.
